Hoping to be opened before the end of the year, the Lighthouse Cove Adventure Golf is approaching completion. When completed this 36 hole mini golf course will feature burgers and ice cream on property. The ice cream shop, “3 Scoops” features hand-spun milkshakes, frozen coffees, and all sorts of treats you would expect from an ice cream shop. The “Burger Shack” will feature beef from Creekstone Farms, Chicago style hot dogs, and a beer and wine menu. Utilizing today’s technology, their “app” will allow you to order beverages, and have them delivered to you “out on the course.” If you sign up for the birthday club, you will get special discounts, as well as birthday party packages. Discount pricing is also available, for schools, charities, camps, or any large group. The course itself was designed to teach about the area’s history, while entertaining. Featuring a 18 foot tall replica of the local lighthouse, statues of local sea and wild life, waterfalls, caves and more.  The nautical theme of the mini golf course fits right in with its Funky Fishing Village...

The homestead was settled by Harry DuBois in 1898, on a shell mound of the Hobe Indians. This massive oyster shell mound was over six hundred feet long, and close to twenty feet tall. Later archeological research discovered artifacts dating back to 500 BC. The DuBois family continue to inhabit the land until the the Palm Beach County Park system purchase it in 1972. Today the DuBois home still stands atop the shell mound, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.    ...
